This assignment consists on writing an evaluation or a criticism about a classmate’s blogspot. I don’t really have a favorite one because I think the all blogs have something good and fun, like a pictures, the historys, links, colors etc.But one of wich I call the attention was Catalina's blogspot, in first place because this blog has many photographs that have made me pretty memories and her historys are very nice. However this is not the only blog that I like also the blog of Seba is very attractive because it is always very innovative things. I like their blogs a lot. I think that the colors and the esthetic is great, but I think that their english is not very good. I've read a few assignments and I don`t like how they are written, I don`t like the redaction and the vocabulary used. After all, I've also enjoyed the style of the blogs.

I´ve to say that the best blogspot is ESCRIBEME, there is no doubt...and the girl who writte it is great!!

Blogspot

Blogspot's have never been my friends. Not because I don't like them, it's just that I'm not accustumed to use these kind of web resources to express my thoughts and opinions.
Although this is the first time that I use a blogspot, I found that after all my prejudices they are really interesting because one is more able to learn English or anything we want to learn when we think about it and then write it down somewhere, and, if we have the blogspot's tools like using pictures and different colors, and we also can change them whenever we want, then their use is more motivating!
Blogspot's are also easy to use because we can work on our tasks from other places rather than the classrooms, making our work more flexible and much faster because we can send to the teacher what we work on at any time.
One of the disadvantages that I believe we find ourselves with when we use blogspots is that we have to work by ourselves and then we lose interaction with our classmades, contact that is important for enriching our learning because we have many things to learn from each other.
Other problem that exists when we work alone is that we cannot make the questions that appear during our work to the teacher, unless we work on the blog in the classroom (which we do not do all the time).
In spite of the disadvantages that we may find about using blogspots in our English activities, I still think there are different benefits we can obtain from them, and their use in the end, is positive.
After my experience with blogspots -thanks to my English class- I feel now free to express my thoughts and opinions through this great internet tool not only in my classes, but in my life in general.

Personality and Leadership preferences

I´m going to tell you about an interesting research that I´ve just read. The name of this investigation is "The relationship between personality and leadership preferences" and the authors are Simon A. Moss and Simon Ngu.The authors investigated in their study about the possibility of a relationship between a certain kind of personality and the preference towards leadership styles. The personality was considered using the five-factor model.The subjects of this study were 166 nurse employees, whom had to complete a questionary about their personality and preferred leadership style.The results of this investigation showed that there really exist a relationship. In fact, the merits of transformational and transactional leadership depend on the personality of followers.Honestly, I don´t beleive in the five-factor model very much, but this investigation is interesting and a psychologist has to know about it. fiestas patrias

Well, on "Fiestas patrias", I couldn't do many things, because I had to work. But I'm going to talk about everything I wish I had done for that holiday.I had a lot of plans for that holiday, many of my friends invite me to the different activities that they were organizing at their houses, or to go to some place but in group. There were different plans as go to a "Fonda" which is a place where there are a lot of sellers, of different things to eat and drink, as empañanas, pipeño, terremoto, anticuchos, choripan, etc; which are the things that are tipically ate on that holiday.There were other plans as going to some friends houses because they were having barbecues, where everybody is encharged to take to the owner of the house things to eat, to drink, so later they can all share toghether a grate meal an later drink alcohol and dance until next day.I wish I have had the time to do all this things and spend all the holiday with my friends and parents, but my obligations called me, so I could not avoid them; hope you with your friends and family have had a good time.

about a movie: The Royal Tenebaums

The Royal Tenenbaums tells the story of a family that lives together again after some years of its members separated and other people attached to them.
The characters are Margot and Richie, who are in love;
their brother Chas and his two sons and their dog;
Eli Cash, their neighbour;
Etheline, mother of Margot, Richie and Chas; Henry Sherman, her fiancé;
Royal, her ex husband; Raleigh St. Clair, a psychiatrist husband of Margot, and his experimental boy;
and Pagoda, who works in the house of this family and wears pink pants.
The rest of the characters also wear the same clothes through the whole movie and they look so nice.
And there is also a narrator, but nobody knows how he looks: there appears just his voice.
The story itself is hard to tell or resume, there are many dispersed elements coming from everywhere and there are many little stories developing during the film, too many actually, so I will not talk about them, but I can say they are all very funny.
The music is also beautiful, a lot of it was created by the same person of The Sims 2’s music, and the other songs are nice too. And the entire movie is kind of pretty, so you can just watch it not paying attention to the story and it will always be nice to have it there.

blog in the english class

I think about the blog in the English class has many advantages for the students. It lets to practice of writing in English, to know new vocabulary and to practice Grammatik.Even though I use the dictionary I learn new words and its application, but many times I don’t know if right or no is. In general I think that the work in the blog lets to develop common topics of the life, and others more academics, talking about them. I help to the students in their expression, when you need talk about some topic, and you can explain it writing in the blog.One of the disadvantages of the use the blog in the English class is the correction, because when I write in the blog and so the assignments, I don’t know if is right or not. Because of this the correction is so important, if you don’t do it right, maybe you still making mistakes.Other disadvantage is in the beginning of the class in the blog, because many students don’t know how to use the blog and they delay in the learning.Respect to my personal opinion this are the advantages and disadvantages of use the blog in the English class, maybe my critics led improve the activity for the next English classes.

Sutil Violento

I enjoy when I go to museums, because is very interesting to know new artist and their work. Last week, I went to Bellas Artes Museum and I saw an exhibition that I like very much. This art exhibition called Sutil Violento, it was very particular. Many artist exhibit their work about the violence that Latin America has suffer. The artist were 16 photographers of many countries of Latin America. The photographers work showed the reasons and consequences about the violence in L.A, violence provoked by the governments of the countries. They showed too, about poverty, colonialism, mass-production, consumerism, deculturación, social differences, intolerance, frustration, melancholy, and more. The authors that exhibit their art in the museum were: Ananke Assef, Eduardo Gil, Marcos López, RES (Argentina) André Cypriano, Júlio Bittencourt, Miguel Rio Branco (Brasil), Pablo Rivera (Chile), René Pena (Cuba) Rodolfo Walsh (Salvador), Daniela Edburg, Maya Goded (México) Rachelle Mozman (Panamá) Fredi Casco (Paraguay) Milagros de la Torre (Perú) Nelson Garrido (Venezuela).

Since I was a baby, I go to museums, because my mother is an artist...and I go with her. Is the moment when we both spend time together and talk about life. For me it´s very important this activity in my life, I can think, enjoy and more...
